My name is Elisa and I’m a photographer and food stylist based in Milan.
I’ve loved playing in the kitchen since I was a child. Then, as I grow up, I discovered photography. After my university studies in communication and advertising, I worked as an assistant for an important food photographer who taught me all the tricks of the trade.
I’m a commercial and editorial photographer. For editorial work I love brilliant and fresh light, which is the basic ingredient for a good picture, that should have the ability to make you smell and taste food. For commercial work I use a more controlled lighting and composition style, retaining a natural look and feel.
I mostly do my own food and props styling and I take care of the final post-production. This way, I can offer a complete, easier and handier service to my clients. I can create beautiful food photography for magazines and books, but also for advertising, websites, catalogs, products and packaging.
Moreover I authored of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop manuals for Apogeo, where I show some techniques to edit images in a practical and easy way.
